  1. now in uber dfw facebook there a guy promote about taxi job making a lot more money driving taxi and better than uber x, and look like a lot of uber x driver interested , want join and register at irving office.

    1. Uber X drivers in Dallas need to sue Uber just like the lady won in San Francisco. Uber fits the mold of an employer not a contractor. Uber owes UberX drivers for expenses, vacation, sick time, unpaid tips, toll tags, and wear and tear on your vehicle. I guarantee just as the lady won in SAF, you all could win it easy here.

    2. You know you are welcome to do that. Why would I wanna open myself up to some many people hating on me????? You say you may drive taxi. It is good but expensive to drive. If you own your own vehicle, you pay almost $300 a week to yellow and if you lease, you pay $75 a day to lease. Since Uber X is trying to wipe out taxi drivers, it is much more difficult to make the $75 a day. And owning is no walk in the park. I have spent $500 less in a year that someone leasing paying $75 a day in maintenance. The difference is, I own it and they do not.

      1. ok thanks, can you explain on how the fee if not owning the vehicle or owning the vehicle? i will post this fee to the forum so not many people will just drive taxi when there only 1 guy try to promote the taxi. and yes i hate uber too 🙂 to much lie from uber….

      2. If you lease from Yellow you will pay $75 per day and will be charged 5% credit card processiing fee.
If yoy lease from a fleet owner and still use yellow cabs computers you will pay anywhere from 65-85 per day. Also if you work at love field you must have a smart way vehicle and you will pay 2.50-2.85 lper trip that you load at Love Field and $4 per trip to Load at DFW

  2. i think the info you give will help a lot people so they know what is the real number to driver taxi and what is the challenge

    1. There are many challanges we face due to how we are regulated and UberX and Lyft are not. I believe it will be short lived. Especially and hopefully if Uber ghas to start paying out all of the employee benefits like disability, unemployment, health ,workmans comp, insurance. Also, we cannot forget vacation pay, sick pay, familiy medical leave, and there are the corporate tax liabilities. I am sure at that time Uber will eliminate YberX. Ir at least cut it way back. The way it is now is they have no oveehead except for advertising. Greed is brings on cery bad Karma.

  3. you are so wrong hahah!

Lyft does require a 31 point inspection. They also have permits for Love Field as well as DFW.
Before you start bashing companies you should really know what you’re talking about .
Also if you’re so sad that your taxi driving isn’t getting you enough business why not start driving for Lyft ?
That’s what a smart person would do .

    1. I do know what I am talking about. Just because thet are required to have them does not, mean that they have them. Still many do not and I have proof. It is ok, I am in the process of contacting the department of Justice because DFW and Love Field make millions of dollars from taxis working there compared to the, measly amount of money that they make from Lyft and,Uber. And the way that authorities are allowing airports to be overrun and not, enforcing their own regulations means that there is criminal activity such as money laundering. We will let the feds decide.

    2. And another thing the 31 point inspection is a joke. Just because UBER CAN CALL an mechanic and pay $50 for the mechanic to bring a 31 point inspection form to a driver and when driver gets form and takes it back to Uber which then gives driver a decal, does not constitute a 31 point inspection. I got the information off of the Lyft website that says that yall only do a 19 point inspection.
